Within this site you can view our new announcements, photos of our facility and explore the wonderful environment that HVDS provides for your children. We are located in the Tri-County Career Center at 15676 State Route 691, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feel free to call for information or stop by and see our facility for yourself. At HVDS, we don't simply act as "babysitters" for your child. We act as your child's introduction into the world of formal education. We provide quality preschool and daycare services to the Southeastern Ohio community and a quality training experience to future child care professionals. The school provides organized learning experiences for children 18 months to 5 years old in an open classroom environment. We follow the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Guidelines for Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Our program offers your child a variety of planned experiences, along with time for free play.
